The Magick of the Raven

The raven is a messenger bird, a guide to souls, able to travel between the realms. This magickal bird teaches the art of shape-shifting and mysticism. The raven is the embodiment of cleverness and has the knowledge to understand the language of other animals.

In Norse mythology, Odin’s familiars were the ravens, Hugin and Munin. They represented thought and memory and were the god’s true eyes and his ability to see all.

In the raven’s blackness everything becomes one and the living and the dead intermingle.
